Another day, another Husqvarna 450 version!
Yesterday, we shared the 450X, which is a 450 version with Autotune, and today we have the Husqvarna 450S.
This version has “Smart Start,” a feature to make starting the saw even easier, and it’s to be released in Sweden on July 21, 2025.

But no doubt it will be rolled out on all new Husqvarna chainsaw models in the future.
The 450X and 564 XP (another new model) don’t have Smart Start, but have “Simple Start Technology.”
This technology provides an easy and consistent starting procedure, whether the engine is cold or warm.
Automatic adjustment of the fuel-to-air ratio ensures the perfect mix, allowing the engine to run smoothly.
It’s not to do with the pull cord, like Smart Start.
Anyway, with the release of these new Husqvarna 450 models, is it safe to say the 450 Rancher is on its way out?
